PRAYground
The PRAYground is an area at the front of our sanctuary for children to come play, pray, and participate in worship. Families with young children are invited to sit in the pews behind the PRAYground and enjoy having a spot for their little ones to experience worship. There are quiet toys for them to explore, books to look at, and ribbons or scarves to wave during their favorite songs. You may be wondering why the PRAYground is at the front of the sanctuary. Children pay more attention when they can see what’s going on! We truly want to give our youngest disciples the opportunity to absorb what they see, hear, and feel during worship.
Kingdom Kids
Two Wednesdays a month, kindergarteners through fifth graders come together for dinner, fellowship, and faith-building learning experiences. From science experiments to games to crafts, there is always fun to be had at Kingdom Kids while learning about God’s love for all. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to connect with friends and grow closer to God!
Worship Our Way (WOW)
WOW is a fun and engaging program specifically for preschoolers through second graders. Each Sunday children attend the beginning of worship with their families. After they participate in Time with Young Disciples, they are invited to go to WOW where they engage in interactive lessons and age-appropriate activities that correlate with the scriptures Pastor Molly is teaching that day. This allows them to learn the same core messages as the adults, but in a way that resonates with them! On the first Sunday of the month, children have a shortened lesson and return to worship for communion.
Little Ones
We love the sound of little ones in our sanctuary! However, we realize that sometimes parents and babies need a different environment to feel at ease. Our nursery is available as a self-service space for parents and infants. The service is live-streamed directly to the room, so you can meet your child’s needs without missing worship. If your little one needs a bit of movement but you want to stay in the sanctuary, we also have comfortable gliders at the back. They offer a soothing spot for rocking or feeding while remaining fully present in worship.
