Garner United Methodist Church is a warm, growing community of faith rooted in the Methodist tradition. We’re located in the heart of Garner and have been a spiritual home for families, individuals, and seekers for generations.
But what really sets us apart isn’t just our history—it’s our heart. We believe the church isn’t a building; it’s the people who gather together to worship, grow, and serve. Worship & Preaching
Our worship services blend traditional Methodist roots with contemporary spirit. Led by our talented music ministries—featuring both organ and piano—every Sunday invites you to experience God’s presence and grow spiritually. Whether you’re singing in the choir, playing an instrument, or simply listening, our music creates sacred space for transformation.
First-time visitor? We livestream our services too, so you can join us from home.
Children & Family Ministry
Raising kids is a joy—and sometimes a challenge. We’re here to support you. Our Worship Our Way (WOW) program for Pre-K through 5th graders gives children their own meaningful worship experience each Sunday, while our family ministries create opportunities for your whole family to grow together.
From nursery care to children’s events, we’ve thought through the details to help you worship comfortably. And if you have questions? Our family ministries team is always ready to help.
Youth & Young Adults
Being young is about discovering who you are and what you believe. Our youth ministry creates space for that journey. From weekly gatherings to mission trips (like our annual Pilgrimage), youth retreats, and service projects—we’re invested in helping young people live out their faith authentically.
Our youth aren’t just “the church of tomorrow”—they’re valued members of our church today.
Spiritual Growth & Service
Faith isn’t a solo journey. We offer Bible studies, small groups, and spiritual formation opportunities to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God. And because loving others is at our core, we’re actively involved in our community—serving through mission work, advocacy, and partnerships that make real change.
