Where do I park?

Parking is available on site and in nearby designated areas. You’ll find clearly marked parking close to the main entrance, including accessible parking.

Parking for our Preschool is located behind the building in the lower parking area. Our hospitality team is always happy to help guide you if you need assistance.

Where are you located?

We are located in Garner, North Carolina off of US 70 HWY. Our church campus is easy to find and centrally located within the community. CLICK HERE for directions.

What time is service?

We gather for worship each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Before worship, you’re invited to Holy Java, a time of fellowship and good coffee, from 9:30–10:30 a.m., located across from the Christian Life Center.

If you enjoy arriving early, gathering music begins at 10:50 a.m. in the sanctuary, offering a peaceful way to prepare your heart for worship.

We invite you to arrive a few minutes early to get settled, grab a bulletin, and enjoy a warm welcome.

What do you offer for kids?

We love kids at Garner UMC!
Children are an important part of worship at Garner UMC, and we offer several meaningful ways for them to engage.

PRAYground
The PRAYground is a space at the front of the sanctuary where children can play, pray, and participate in worship. Families are invited to sit nearby while little ones explore quiet toys, books, and worship scarves, helping them experience worship in a hands-on way.

Worship Our Way (WOW)
WOW is designed for preschoolers through second graders. Children begin worship with their families and, after Time with Young Disciples, are invited to WOW for interactive, age-appropriate lessons connected to the day’s scripture. On the first Sunday of each month, children return to worship for communion.

Kingdom Kids
Kingdom Kids meets two Wednesdays a month for kindergarten through fifth graders and includes dinner, fellowship, and faith-filled fun. Through games, crafts, and activities, children build friendships while learning about God’s love.

What should I wear?

Come as you are.
You’ll see everything from jeans and casual attire to dresses and button-downs. We care much more about you being here than what you’re wearing.

What does a typical service look like?

Our worship services are Christ-centered and welcoming. You can expect meaningful music, prayer, Scripture, and a message that connects faith to everyday life. Communion is offered regularly, and all are welcome at Christ’s table.

How do I join a small group?

Small groups are a great way to build relationships and grow in faith. Groups meet at different times and in different formats. Visit our Small Groups page or speak with our pastor or a staff member to find a group that fits you best.

How do I join a ministry?

There are many ways to serve and share your gifts at Garner UMC. Whether your passion is hospitality, music, children, missions, or behind-the-scenes support, there is a place for you. Reach out through our Connect Card or send us an email to get started.

How can I get involved in serving?

Serving is one of the best ways to connect. Opportunities range from Sunday morning roles to community outreach and mission projects. Let us know your interests, and we’ll help you find a meaningful place to serve.
